Multilingual Banking Management Application

Version 1.0Effective from 6 May 2026

This English translation is provided for convenience only. The French version of this document is the official, legally binding text and shall prevail in case of any discrepancy.

This Privacy Policy describes how KNE – FAMILY OFFICE ("KNE", "we", "our") collects, uses, and protects personal data when you use our Multilingual Banking Management Application (the "Application") across iOS, Android, and web platforms.

KNE is a private family office serving an existing customer base. The Application is provided free of charge as a complementary service to that relationship.

This Privacy Policy is supplementary to and forms an integral part of our Terms of Service, available at https://app.kne-family-office.com/terms.

1. Data Controller

The data controller for personal data collected in connection with the Application is:

  • KNE – FAMILY OFFICE
  • 12/7 Sheinkin, Tel Aviv-Jaffa 6523114, Israel
  • Contact for any question relating to personal data: office@kne-ltd.com

2. Personal Data We Collect

2.1 – Account information

When you log into the Application, we process the email address and password you use to authenticate. Your password is never stored in plain text — it is hashed using the bcrypt algorithm before being persisted.

2.2 – Banking information

The Application displays banking information (account balances, transaction histories, statements, deposits, loans, credit-card data) that has been collected on your behalf by our backend service ("BanksEngine") from your selected Israeli banking institutions, with your express authorisation.

The Application itself never collects, displays, transmits, or stores your bank passwords or PIN codes — these are managed exclusively in our secure backend infrastructure and never transmitted to your device.

2.3 – Profile preferences

We store your display preferences: interface language (French or English), main and secondary transaction-display languages (French, English, German, Russian, Ukrainian, Spanish, Portuguese, or Hebrew), main currency (Israeli Shekel, Euro, or US Dollar), and an optional secondary currency.

2.4 – Push notification tokens (future version)

When push notifications are enabled in a future version of the Application, your device's push notification token (Apple APNs token or Google FCM token) will be transmitted to our backend so we can deliver notifications to your device. The token is associated with your User account and removed when you log out or uninstall the Application.

2.5 – Connection metadata

When you use the Application, our backend automatically logs technical metadata about your connection: IP address, request timestamp, the API endpoint accessed, and the application version. This information is used for security monitoring, debugging, and capacity planning.

2.6 – Activity log

Significant actions you perform in the Application (logins, password changes, settings updates, exports) are recorded in an internal activity log. This log is reviewed by KNE staff in case of security investigation or your support request.

3. Data Sources

We obtain your banking data exclusively from the Israeli banking institutions you have authorised us to access. The Application makes no use of third-party data brokers, marketing data providers, or social-media data.

Your bank credentials, when initially provided, are entered directly with KNE staff during your onboarding (the in-app interface never requests bank passwords).

4. Purposes of Processing

We process your personal data for the following exclusive purposes:

  • Providing the aggregation, translation, and visualisation service of your banking information;
  • Authenticating you when you log into the Application;
  • Operating the multilingual translation feature according to your language preferences;
  • Sending you push notifications when you enable them (future version);
  • Detecting and preventing security incidents (fraudulent logins, brute-force attempts);
  • Responding to your support requests and customer-service interactions;
  • Complying with applicable legal and regulatory obligations.

We do NOT process your data for: targeted advertising, profiling for marketing purposes, sale or rental to third parties, or any commercial purpose unrelated to the provision of the Application service.

5. Data Recipients

Your personal data is accessed only by:

  • You (via the Application);
  • Authorised KNE staff on a need-to-know basis (technical operations, customer support, security investigations);
  • Our hosting infrastructure provider in Europe (the server is operated by KNE; no cloud-based AI service or analytics service has access);
  • Apple and Google, exclusively for the technical purpose of delivering push notifications when enabled (future version), and exclusively the device push token (no personal information is shared).

We do NOT share your data with: marketing networks, advertising platforms, social-media networks, or third-party analytics services.

6. No Third-Party Analytics or Trackers

The Application does NOT include: Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, advertising SDKs, marketing-attribution SDKs, behavioural-analytics SDKs, or any third-party tracker. The Application makes network calls only to KNE's own backend at portal.kne-family-office.com.

7. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for the duration of our customer relationship and for the period legally required after termination (typically five (5) years for accounting and regulatory purposes under Israeli law). After this period, your personal data is permanently deleted from our active systems and any backups in which it appeared are reduced according to our retention schedule.

8. Data Security

We implement technical and organisational measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the data we process. These measures include:

  • Encryption of data in transit (TLS 1.2+ for all API requests);
  • Encryption of authentication tokens at rest on your device (iOS Keychain, Android EncryptedSharedPreferences in production);
  • Hashing of passwords with bcrypt (industry-standard, computationally expensive against brute-force);
  • Principle of least privilege for backend service accounts;
  • Network isolation of the database from the public internet;
  • Regular security review of all components.

Despite these measures, no method of electronic transmission or storage is one hundred percent secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your Rights

Under applicable data-protection law (the EU GDPR where you are an EU resident, the Israeli Privacy Protection Law otherwise), you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Right of access: obtain a copy of the data we hold about you;
  • Right of rectification: have inaccurate data corrected;
  • Right of erasure ("right to be forgotten"): request deletion of your data, subject to our legal retention obligations;
  • Right to restriction of processing;
  • Right to data portability: receive your data in a machine-readable format;
  • Right to object to processing based on legitimate interests;
  • Right to withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at office@kne-ltd.com. We will respond within thirty (30) days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the data-protection authority of your country.

10. International Transfers

Your personal data is processed and stored within Europe and Israel. Where data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, we rely on adequate-protection mechanisms (such as the adequacy decision of the Israeli Privacy Protection Law).

11. Children

The Application is not directed at children under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If we become aware that we have collected data from a minor without verifiable parental consent, we will delete that data promptly.

12. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to our practices or applicable law. Material changes will be notified to you via email or in-app notification at least fifteen (15) days before they take effect. Continued use of the Application after the effective date of an updated Policy constitutes acceptance of the changes.
